A place to write

I found this Martha's Vineyard cottage room on Architectural Digest online. . . fresh and inspiring, I think. (I also saw it on TheInspiredRoom -- a blog that is so true to its name.) It looks like the dreamy writer's cottage I wish to someday create . . . perhaps in the guest cottage at the Windmark House. I can already smell the salty, sea air wafting through the sheers.
Of course, it would be nice to have such a space in my Maryland home today. I shall make that my goal -- to carve out an inspiring space for reflection and creativity. Free from kid clutter and to-do lists.
